食用方法
由於亞麻籽對心血管疾病有一定的益處,所以在美國和加拿大受廣泛食用。

亞麻籽油可以用作食物材料、拌碟或作食油使用:
  • 在早餐飲品中加入亞麻籽油飲用,像是牛奶、豆漿或優酪乳
  • 將亞麻籽油拌入煮熟菜餚食譜中,再加上香料食用
  • 加入煮熟的湯、粥、飯或菜中食用
  • 將亞麻籽油與乳清蛋白或乳酪一起食用,對於抗癌有一定的作用。
  • 它並不適合用於熱炒,最適合用在冷盤類的食物,例如做沙律時可以用亞麻籽油和橄欖油各半。
  • 把亞麻籽油拌入麥皮或糖水中(如紅豆沙、麥米粥、喳咋等),或加入麵粉糰中,弄出亞麻籽鬆餅、班戟或麵包。增添口感之餘,亦可增加纖維素。
  • 將亞麻籽油灑在沙律、菜上作拌碟 
  • 由於亞麻籽油的起煙點比一般的油低,只有107°C(粟米油160°C),所以亞麻籽油很容易被熱力分解,並不適用於高烹調。亞麻籽油可用作沙律油或加入已煮好的湯、薯蓉中食用。

Oil pressed from flax is incredibly rich in both Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids if it is freshly pressed and unrefined.

These two essential fatty acids are important for immune system development, digestive support, healthy brain function, soft and smooth skin, circulatory health, and anti-aging benefits.

The evolution of Flora's highly sophisticated oil pressing plant allows the production of fresh, cold-pressed flax oil, which is unrefined, non-deodorized and pressed from certified organically grown flax. During pressing of this oil, the temperature remains below 40˚C.

This gives our oil a surprisingly delightful, fresh, nutty taste. Because of Flax Oil's superior nutritional make-up, we recommend it always be used unheated. Flora fresh pressed flax oil is perishable and should be kept refrigerated at all times. The pressing and expiry dates are stamped on each bottle to ensure freshness. 

The shelf life is six months refrigerated, or one year frozen.

 
The Essential Difference  
 

Flora Oils are truly cold-pressed, unrefined and unmodified. Most seeds used in our oil pressing are grown organically by Canadian and U.S. farmers and are selected for their high quality and abundance of essential fatty acids. The quality of our oils is ensured by a third party certifying agency, Quality Assurance International (QAI). Unlike other commercially produced oils, Flora Oils are pressed in a light- and oxygen-free environment on highly sophisticated presses, where friction heat is kept well below 118˚F (50˚C) to produce a truly cold-pressed oil that preserves the fragile EFAs. They are then bottled in non-reactive dark brown glass bottles to prevent deterioration from light and are stamped for freshness. As an additional protective measure, we use a nitrogen flush to ensure oxidation cannot occur, and that top quality is maintained. Flora Oils retain their authentic color, delicate flavor and primary nutritional characteristics. They are perishable and should be stored in the refrigerator.




The Canada Organic Regime (COR) is the Government of Canada’s response to requests by the organic sector and consumers to develop a regulated system for organic agricultural products. On June 30, 2009, The Organic Products Regulations (the Regulations) came into effect. The Regulations, made under the authority of the Canadian Agricultural Products Act, define specific requirements for organic products labelled as organic or that bear the organic agricultural product logo.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is responsible for the monitoring and enforcement of the Regulations. Under the COR, Certification Bodies are accredited based on the recommendation of CFIA designated Conformity Verification Bodies. The Certification Bodies are responsible for verifying the application of the Canadian Organic Standards.

There are five main documents that comprise the Canada Organic Regime. These are:
  • · The Organic Products Regulations – regulations made under the authority of the Canadian Agricultural Products Act;
  • The Organic Production Systems General Principles and Management Standards, CAN/CGSB-32.310, to the extent these standards are incorporated by reference into the regulations – developed by the organic industry and the Canadian General Standards Board;
  • The Organic Production Systems Permitted Substances List, CAN/CGSB-32.311 as incorporated by reference into the regulations and developed by the organic industry and the Canadian General Standards Board;
  • The COO Quality Manual, and
  • COO Operating Manual.
Collectively, these documents describe the Regulations, principles and management standards required of organic production systems as well as the list of substances permitted to be used in organic production. The COR is a robust and comprehensive regime covering every aspect of organic production, from planning and production right through to labelling and packaging.
 
Consumer protection
The standards protect consumers against false claims and govern the use of the Canada Organic Biologique logo. While use of the logo (which appears above) is voluntary, all products bearing the logo are required to comply with the Organic Product Regulations. Use of the logo indicates that the product to which it is affixed has been certified as meeting the COR standards.
 
Labelling
  • Only products with organic content that is greater than or equal to 95% may be labelled as: “Organic” or bear the organic logo.
  • Multi-ingredient products with 70-95% organic content may have the declaration: “contains x% organic ingredients.” These products may not use the organic logo and/or the claim “Organic”.
  • Multi-ingredient products with less than 70% organic content may only contain organic claims in the product’s ingredient list. These products may not use the organic logo.
  • Certified organic products must also bear the name of the certification body that has certified the product as organic.
Principles
The general principles of organic production outlined in the new standards are as follows:
  • Protect the environment, minimize soil degradation and erosion, decrease pollution, optimize biological productivity and promote a sound state of health
  • Maintain long-term soil fertility by optimizing conditions for biological activity within the soil
  • Maintain biological diversity within the system
  • Recycle materials and resources to the greatest extent possible within the enterprise
  • Provide attentive care that promotes the health and meets the behavioural needs of livestock
  • Prepare organic products, emphasizing careful processing, and handling methods in order to maintain the organic integrity and vital qualities of the products at all stages of production
  • Rely on renewable resources in locally organized agricultural systems
US and Canadian Organic Standards Equivalency Agreement
On June 18, 2009 the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) signed an agreement recognizing each country’s organic standards as equivalent.
Under the equivalency agreement, which came into effect on July 1, 2009, any raw produce grown without Sodium Nitrate and processed products certified to the National Organic Program (NOP) standards are not required to become certified to the Canadian Organic Regime (COR) standards. Similarly, Canadian organic products certified to COR standards may be sold or labelled in the United States as organically produced.
Both the USDA Organic seal and the Canada Organic Biologique logo may be used on certified products from both countries, in addition to the certifier’s logo

最近導演嚴浩在報章上分享布緯食療,每天服用兩次,能改善人體細胞組織和免疫系統,從而預防及治療癌症及其他慢性疾病。

三個月癌腫瘤消失

 

布緯療法並非一個新研究的成功食療,亦非甚麼民間偏方。
此食療於50多年前,由一位知名的醫學家布緯博士( Dr. Johanna Budwig)研究出來,目的是讓癌症成為容易治癒的絕症。

食療以有機冷壓初榨亞麻籽油與有機低脂茅屋芝士混合,每天服用,能改善細胞組織,從而預防及治療很多與免疫系統有關的慢性疾病,甚至癌症。

布緯博士發現癌症病人缺乏磷脂及脂蛋白兩種物質,大部份病患者缺乏80%的 Omega3,而茅屋芝士含有 High Sulphur Protein,與亞麻籽油混合,能使亞麻籽油中的油溶性 Omega3脂肪酸轉化成水溶性的脂肪酸。

布緯博士發現,進食此療法約三個月,癌症病人的血液由含奇怪的黃綠色物質變回正常的鮮紅色,意即細胞中恢復血紅蛋白,體質大大改善,甚至連腫瘤也消失了,其研究報告中表明治癒率高達80-93%。

不過,她要求大家要嚴謹地按足其指示服用,否則不能成功。

布緯食療的食材及食法非常簡單,以100磅體重的成年人來計,只要將2湯匙有機茅屋芝士加入1湯匙的冷壓初榨亞麻籽油,用棍狀的手持攪拌器,低速攪拌成乳脂狀即可。
若想增強效果,可撒上鮮磨的亞麻籽粉,若嫌味道太寡,亦可加入蜜糖或藍莓等。



Q1.布緯食療能治療甚麼疾病?
A1.對關節炎、心臟病、濕疹、哮喘、胃潰瘍、腦部疾病及各種癌症等均有效。食療要每天服用二次。至少持續服食三至六個月。

Q2.不同病患者有不同的療法嗎?
A2.有。布緯博士說患有慢性疾病,特別是癌症病人,可由每天兩茶匙的亞麻籽油劑量,逐漸增加至最高的八茶匙劑量。而肝及胰臟癌患者,要從最低劑量開始,讓身體適應後才加大劑量。

Q3.生活上如何配合食療?
A3.除了早睡早起,多接觸太陽,多做運動,保持開朗外,飲食上要吃新鮮蔬果,不要吃隔夜食物,否則難以吸收人體所需的物質。另外要戒肉類、海鮮、煎炸物、食品添加劑、奶製品(茅屋芝士除外)、白 麪粉、白米、咖啡、糖(蜜糖除外)等。
 

 

Q4.可以用其他油代替冷壓初榨亞麻籽油嗎?

 

A4.不可以。一般食用油含 Omega6脂肪酸,只含極小量 Omega3,使人體的 Omega3和6脂肪酸嚴重失衡。冷壓初榨亞麻籽油含這兩種脂肪酸而且含量極豐富,既能抗癌,又能治療心腦疾病等。但要注意,亞麻籽油要選有機冷壓初榨的,不能加熱煮食,否則會失去養份,另外亦應冷藏存放,否則容易氧化。

布緯食療 :  布緯食療(The Budwig Diet)並非新興起的自然療法,它是由知名德國生物化學家Dr. Johanna Budwig於50年前研究出來,可令癌症容易治癒的神奇食療。

食療的基本是戒肉,及服用以有機冷壓初榨亞麻籽油(Organic Cold-pressed Extra Virgin Flaxseed Oil)混合有機原味低脂茅屋芝士(Organic Low-fat Cottage Cheese),能有效改善細胞組織,預防及治療很多與免疫系統有關的慢性疾病,尤其是癌症。( 右圖 : 布緯食療始創人布緯博士 )


好像很神奇吧?這項有機食療原理是改善免疫系統,並製造一個不適合癌細胞生長及居住的環境,令癌細胞自然「死亡」,甚至完全消失。除了癌症,它對濕疹、哮喘、關節炎、心臟病、胃潰瘍、腦部疾病等亦有療效。

亞麻籽的好處
亞麻籽蘊含豐富的木脂素(Lignans)。木脂素是一種植物荷爾蒙,亞麻籽蘊含的份量比一般植物高出數百倍,最近研究發現木脂素能預防肥胖症和糖尿病。亞麻籽油內含的Omega-3脂肪酸有天然的抗炎因子,可幫助舒解風濕樣關節炎、牛皮癬、過敏及其他發炎性疾病引起的症狀。
亞麻籽必須即磨即用,因為人類難以消化原粒亞麻籽,而且要在磨完後十五分鐘內服用,否則會變味及失去其營養價值。

布緯食療進行方法
準備咖啡豆磨具,用來磨碎原顆亞麻籽。布緯博士說,剛開始時,每天用兩到三湯匙磨成粉的亞麻籽,也可以把亞麻籽粉放入穀物粥、Muesli、及麥皮中。以手持棍狀攪拌器或用匙羹快速攪拌亞麻籽油和茅屋芝士完全成為一體,把油變成水溶性,令細胞更容易吸收。

不同病症有不同療法,如果是一般保健,就以一湯匙有機冷壓初榨亞麻籽油混合兩湯匙有機原味低脂茅屋芝士,使用手持棍狀攪拌器,低速攪拌成乳脂狀即可食用。為了保證新鮮,每次只應該混合一次用的份量。
療法進行間要戒吃肉類、海鮮、煎炸物、奶製品(茅屋芝士除外)、糖(蜜糖除外)、食品添加劑、白米、咖啡等。布緯博士指出患有慢性疾病,特別是癌症病人,可由每天一湯匙的亞麻籽油劑量,逐漸增加至最高的四湯匙劑量。而肝癌及胰臟癌患者,要從最低劑量開始,讓身體適應後才加大劑量。此食療要每天服用二次,至少持續服食三至六個月才有成效。要注意亞麻籽油不能加熱煮食,否則會失去養份,另外亦應冷藏存放,否則容易氧化。
